Bring your own book
EnrichReader is a spoiler-free story companion for people who want to read their own books and keep track of who is who. Import a lawfully obtained, DRM-free book to read on your device. For partner series, a separate companion called a Skin adds character profiles and a lore directory that follow your reading position. You can use the reader without a Skin; companion coverage depends on the book and the available catalog.
Read on Android, iOS, or the web
The Android app is available through Google Play. The web reader opens in a browser, and iOS readers can add it to their Home Screen from Safari. Start with the download and launch options to choose your platform. On iOS, the Home Screen option uses the web app. Before a trip or a commute without connectivity, set up the reader and download the book and any matching Skin you want to use.
Keep your books on your device
Imported book files are stored and parsed on your device. You do not need an account for reading. Sign in if you want to install Skins or sync your library details, reading positions, and settings between devices. Sync does not upload book text. If you choose to report a chapter problem, the report includes that chapter’s text. The privacy policy explains usage events, crash reports, and the settings that control them.
Add context when a story gets complicated
Long novels can introduce characters, organizations, and locations over hundreds of chapters. A matching Skin provides context at your current reading position, so you can check who someone is without opening a wiki article that covers the entire plot. Skins are prepared in advance for partner series. Importing a book does not automatically create a companion, and you should check the in-app Skin catalog for a match before relying on those features.
Choose the right starting point
If you mainly want to open your own books, start with the reader. If you want help remembering a large cast, read about the LitRPG companion and the spoiler-free wiki alternative, then check Skin availability. You still need your own book to read in EnrichReader. When comparing ebook readers, check two things separately: whether you can open the file you own, and whether the companion catalog covers the story you want to read.
