EnrichReader ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App") and website.

This policy is drafted in compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

By accessing or using EnrichReader, you verify that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this policy.

How We Handle Your Books

We believe your library belongs to you.

  • Strictly Local Access: When you open an EPUB file in EnrichReader, the file remains stored locally on your device. We never upload the text, content, or binary files of your books to our servers.

  • The Match Process: To match your books with our interactive "Skins" (metadata), the App generates a numerical "fingerprint" of text segments locally on your device.

    • • These hashes are non-reversible (they cannot be turned back into text).
    • • Hash data is matched locally; no text fingerprint is sent to our servers.

Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our services, improve performance, and manage subscriptions.

Account Data

  • Email Address: Identification and support.
  • Display Name: Personalization.
  • Profile Picture: In-app identity.

Technical Data

  • Device Info: Model, OS, language.
  • Usage Logs: Feature engagement.
  • Crash Reports: Rollbar stack traces.

How We Use Your Data

1. Service Provision

To authenticate you and sync your preferences (reading progress, skin library) across devices via Supabase.

2. Content Matching

To identify which "Skins" are available for the books you own using fingerprinting algorithms.

3. Subscription Management

To verify your status and unlock specific features via RevenueCat.

Content Ownership

We do not host, distribute, or sell EPUB files.

EnrichReader is a tool for reading files already in your possession. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights or copyright permissions for any file you import. We expressly disclaim any liability regarding the copyright status of files stored on your device.
